New Members guide

You should be able to find all the information you need in the above tabs (password obtained from secretary or commitee member).  If in doubt contact a coach, captain, or committee member with your questions (See commtttee members & coaches HERE) .   

 

Some key points to flag up:

• Read the club rules, particularly the By-Laws from page 14 which are about who can row in what conditions.

• The club is governed for you, by an elected committee.  Please read outcomes of meetings in the minutes tab.

• All kit suppliers are in the useful links/docs page.  However, we tend to use the following 3:

  • GODFREY  ​

  • RIVAL KIT

  • KIT CREW

• The club is run entirely on a voluntary basis, so we expect all members to get involved in some way whether it be cleaning up after floods, or writing blogs for the website, we appreciate all help.​

• To race, you need a race licence issues by British rowing, and there will be race fees and towing fees.  Your coach will explain the process.
